Chilli Minted Mushy Peas (6)


  • 1 tsp olive oil, some butter into frying pan
  • finely chopped shallot
  • chillie chopped
  • garlic chopped


  1. add all into pan and sweat off
  2. boil some water in a pot
  3. add mint (including stalks)
  4. add frozen peas
  5. when they go soft, drain from pot, remove mint
  6. add peas to shallots in pan
  7. mix everything together, season with salt and pepper
  8. move pan onto wooden board and crush peas with masher
  9. serve on plate and top with chopped mint
