Could only have a very small quantity before feeling sick. Too chocolatey and as it cooled there was a bitter taste. Super-unhealthy

Ingredients

  • Half a litre of full-fat milk
  • 1tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 100g Dark Chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • Pinch of Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt

Method

  1. heat up milk in a pan, add the cinnamon stick
  2. Wait until milk boils, reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes
  3. Discard cinnamon sticks
  4. Add cocoa powder and whisk in to milk
  5. Sieve mixture into bowl, wash pan and add water, gently simmer the water and place bowl over pan
  6. Add salt, sugar, and chocolate
  7. Stir to thicken mixture
  8. Serve with brioche bread
