Pulled Pork (5)
This is a recipe that requires the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker
Ingredients
- Pork Shoulder
- 2 tbsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp onion salt
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp celery seed
- half a cup of brown sugar
- chicken stock
Method
- Mix all of the spices and sugar to create a dry rub.
- Trim the fat from the pork, it won't be required during the cooking process
- Apply the rub to the meat
- Set the Instant Pot to the saute setting, when it displays 'HOT' add some oil
- Sear each side of the meat for 3 mins
- Add the chicken stock, use it to scrape off the sides of the pot
- Seal the Instant Pot, Saute -> Keep Warm/Cancel -> Meat/Stew for 90 minutes
- After 90 minutes is done wait for an additional 10 minutes
