Method (from memory)

  • lined a tray with foil, had the foil extend outward on x and y axis
  • seasoned inside of turkey + stuffed it with an onion and thyme
  • spread butter on turkey
  • poured stock into foil-lined tray
  • covered the turkey with the extended foil
  • low heat for ages
  • removed foil covering and cooked for longer with regular basting
  • (a basting pippette would have been really helpful)
